Les Tireux d’Roches release a brand new single Wôlà
As they are gearing up to board onto the next plane to France, Les Tireux d’Roches (TDR) are releasing their new radio single Wôlà, off their latest album Tarmacadam.
Some songs take months to be written, others might take 10 minutes. For the song’s author, Denis Massé, Wôlà, appeared in a flash: “I had spent a few days at my cottage in order to write and compose new music. However, after three days with no Internet, I felt as if nothing creative had come out of that session. However, as I was sweeping the floors before heading out of the place, the song just popped into my head! I took my guitar out of its case and just started writing.
With the band, we twisted and turned this song into different directions in order to give it a more traditional flavour. But it kept coming back to its original roots, so we decided to place it at the end of our album. She now concludes our shows and is very effective when it comes to making the crowd dance.”
