Avril Jensen presents van gogh, a beautiful intro to her first EP, COLORS, to be released on April 8th. Available for pre-order starting today, COLORS is a collection of stories and experiments. The EP launch will occur at the Quai des brumes on April 7th.

Joined by a music video that already reveals the artist’s colorful universe, van gogh is a bossa-nova-inspired song, tackling the themes of loneliness and the search for oneself through the life of the Dutch painter and draftsman Van Gogh. Through the acoustic arrangements, the song depicts the energy of the painter’s canvases, of his environment filled with colors, all stained by the trials of his existence, explains Avril Jensen.
