A first remix unveiled!

A little more than two months after the release of their single KONBA, NOMADIC MASSIVE are back with a series of remixes of the same track as revisited by five beatmakers: Montreal’s Toast Dawg, Shash’u and KenLo Craqnuques, Brazil’s Slim Rimagraphia and France’s Pak dj’een (of Marseilles’s La Méthode).

Always eager to collaborate with artists they much admire, the band sent a call out to many producers and beatmakers inviting them to reinterpret their own version of the single. They were given complete carte blanche to create as they see fit. The five beatmakers that stepped up to the challenge were able to infuse a new energy into an already percussive, lyrically-charged and bewitching song. Each interpretations are unique, no details were lost in the mix. Most importantly, each mix kept this spirit of unity and resistance that was so strongly displayed in the original track.

The KONBA continues!
